The International Rocket Engineering Competition (IREC), is the largest collegiate rocketry competition in the world, showcasing 7,339 competitors who make up 172 teams from 22 countries and 6 continents offering a diverse talent pool of majors and backgrounds that provide unique perspectives and approaches to solve challenges in each category of our competition.
MAJORS REPRESENTED
Our competitors are challenged to design, manufacture, integrate, and launch their rockets in some of the harshest conditions while practicing both technical and communication skills, as they are required to analyze, document, and present their findings to a group of judges.
