Explanation of Fees
Teams participation in the IREC event at Spaceport Midland should expect to pay $1000 per rocket team and $75 per team member. Late fees will be assessed in accordance with the IREC Integrated Master Schedule. Payments are divided into three fees defined as follows:
2025 Application/Entry Fee: $300
2025 Rocket Fee: $700
2025 Rocketeer Fee: $75
Student team members are provided IREC items which may include T-Shirts, patches, lanyards, etc. However, due to the size of the competition, it is often difficult to keep track of supplies. Items are provided in a "first-come, first-served" basis during event registration. Please make sure to arrive early.
2025 Application/Entry Fee: $300
- The Entry Fee is necessary for ESRA to make down payments on facility rentals, equipment rentals, and purchasing of new equipment before the event.
- The deadline for payment of Team Entry Fees is December 6th, 2024.
- Each team's Entry Fee should be paid as soon as possible/practical after being accepted to compete.
- THIS FEE IS NO LONGER REFUNDABLE
2025 Rocket Fee: $700
- The Rocket Fee pays for any costs that are not directly related to the number of people at the event.
- Each team's Rocket Fee is due on or before April 11th. Payment after this date will be considered "late", and the fee will increase to $900.
- This fee is refundable up until April 11th. After this date, no refunds will be given.
2025 Rocketeer Fee: $75
- The Rocketeer Fee pays for all costs that are directly related to the number of people at the event.
- Each participant's Rocketeer Fee is due on or before April 11th. Payment after this date will be considered "late", and the fee will increase to $90.
- This fee is refundable up until April 11th. After this date, no refunds will be given.

There is no Late Fee.
Non-payment could lead to removal from the competition.
This FEE IS NON-REFUNDABLE
Please use the most unique identifier available when paying your Entry Deposit Fee and Rocket Fee. Once assigned, your Team ID will always be the most unique identifier for associating your payment to your team.
The 2025 IREC will be hosted in MIDLAND,TEXAS Monday, June 9 - 14, 2025.
