Traveling to Las Cruces, NM by Air
ESRA highly recommend all participants stay in Las Cruces, NM where the Spaceport America Cup Conference Day and Awards Ceremony will be held. The nearest commercial airport to Las Cruces, NM is El Paso International Airport (ELP) in El Paso, TX. From ELP, Las Cruces is a one hour drive North on I-10. The next closest commercial airport is in Albuquerque, NM; however, Albuquerque International Sunport (ABQ) is a three and a half hour drive from Las Cruces on I-25. Participants flying to the SA Cup will need to secure their own ground transportation during the event. The organizers do not provide transportation to any location.
Traveling to Spaceport America from Las Cruces, NM
There two routes to Spaceport America from Las Cruces. The shortest route - just under an hour - takes county roads E072, A013, and A-13 directly north to the Spaceport from I-25.
There is another longer route - just under two hours - passing through the town of Truth or Consequences, NM, takes county roads AO14, AO13, A-13 and AO39 south to Spaceport.
